Crimewave (First Down Dash) x Gentle Dancer by Old Moon Dancer

A cool combination of breeding. By Crimewave out of a superior race mare (Gentle Dancer) who is by Old Moon Dancer, the sire to Rusty Quam’s standout (gray) rodeo horses. Gentle Dancer is out of the same dam as my good horse Jet making Anty Sal a ¾ blood sister to Jet. Sal hit the broodmare pen early in life and has already had 2 foals. Her first colt won his first race out as a 2 year old in 2007. Her second colt placed second in the Manitoba bred futurity in 2008. Sal was injured on the track, but has been riding sound and was working the pattern nicely before breeding her. She was a natural on barrels and poles. Sal definitely has the Crimewave natural turning ability, and is nicely broke with a soft mouth and really good speed control. Sal foaled an adorable gray filly by High On Corona, son of Corona Cartel in 2009. We call this filly Blue.

She was bredin 2009 to the Bennie’s Cer Jess Be Nimble stallion, a son of Mr Jess Perry out of leading Shawne Bug daughter Painted Bug. Cer Jess Be Nimble has a Speed Index of 96 and won over $30,000 racing.

On June 2, 2010 Sal foaled a lovely bay filly by Cer Jess Be Nimble.  She is currently bred back toB= Ranches  Dash Ta Fame son Mac N Fame.
